The article describes how corgis (the dogs, not the die-cast company) are taking over the world. All I can add to this is, "Well, of course. Haven't you been paying attention?"
The biggest sign of this is that, when I bought my first Corgi, Mikey, and Googled the word "corgi." The first few hits were for the Corgi USA Classic Die-cast Company and their products. The dogs weren't usually found until the second page. Now, the dogs are at the top of the page.

As for me, we're on our second Corgi, and they couldn't be more different. Mikey would charm you out of the world. Duffy just takes it.

I never had much experience with Corgis until a few years ago. They are furry little balls of awesome. I still have a special place in my heart for Schnauzers, though.
Schnauzers are great, too. I love the giant ones - so regal looking.
I swear those neck-hats are torture! Our miniature Schnauzer had to wear one once. He hated it. But they do make for cute videos!
We have a corgi mix and we adore him. He has the corgi build (and ears) but sort of a lion mane coating. They sure have different personalities than the dog manuals speak to, though--we need to treat him more like a toddler and less like a dog or he gets very hostile.
Corgis were bred to herd cattle by nipping their heels, so they are, in general, smart and willful. We've had to train both of ours not to nip, but they both would still bump us with their noses to go somewhere specific. Also, "smart" doesn't mean "easy to train." It just means "smarter than you." Mikey was a mellow soul who adored me. Duffy is a rascal who tests me (but ultimately gives in).
